Overview

Session 2 of Day 2 of Vascular Interventions Online 2022 offers an in-depth exploration of optimising clot removal and ensuring safe NIVL (Non-Invasive Venous Lesion) treatment. The session features two live cases, a Chronic or Thrombectomy case and a NIVL case, providing participants with real-time insights into these procedures.

The presentations and discussions focus on 'Optimising Clot Removal: Where to Use Lytic, Where to Use Mechanical Thrombectomy,' address the crucial considerations of patient selection, procedural techniques, and the latest advancements in clot management. During 'Making NIVL Treatment Safe: Optimal Patient Selection and Avoiding Complications' experts share strategies for selecting suitable patients for NIVL treatment and minimising associated risks and complications. The discussions encompass key aspects such as patient evaluation, procedural planning, and safety measures.
