Biography

Dr Vlasis Ninios is an Interventional Cardiologist and Director of the Cardiology Department at Interbalkan European Medical Center, Thessaloniki, GR. A graduate of Aristotle University, he trained in the UK at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge University NHS Trust, before returning to Greece in 2005.

Specialising in structural heart disease, Dr Ninios performs transcatheter valve interventions, congenital procedures and coronary interventions. His research focuses on percutaneous mitral and tricuspid regurgitation treatments, contributing to multi-centre trials including CARILLON and RESHAPE-HF 2.
